Bell’s Christmas Ale
I have been waiting for this beer to arrive since the brewery, Bell’s Brewery, announced that they would be brewing their first ever Christmas Ale. The first taste was surprisingly mellow and not as spiced as a typical Christmas Ale. That lead me to believe it was not high in ABV, but after trying two, I think it is a big beer. It is amber in color, easy to drink and has a dry, semi-sour finish. The malt is smooth which allows the hops to shine through.
Good flavor, good price, great beer, Happy Holidays! Available at Warehouse Beverage for $9.99/six.

Glad to hear you liked it. I have somehow resisted trying the one I picked up so far, though I have tried a number of the others, my favorite of which was the New Holland Cabin Fever, a very tasty brown ale. Sadly I did not enjoy the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale as I am a fan of their other beers, though the wife likes it.
And by the way, thanks for greeting me on my first visit to Warehouse Beverage :) I can see myself returning there in the not-so-distant future as they have a very impressive beer selection.

I do not care for the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale either. I will have to try the New Holland Cabin Fever, never had it as I usually shy away from the Brown Ales.
‘Tis the season to try new beers.

I’ll have to give this a try. I’ve never had it before, but I sure do love my Christmas Ales.
